About the job as Project Manager:

As a Project Manager in advanced and non-standard mechanical testing at Siemens Energy, you will become a central part of the testing chain. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving projects with a focus on quality, time, and cost. The role involves close collaboration with local specialists, international Siemens Energy sites, and external testing laboratories. You will work in a dynamic R&D environment where you will have the opportunity to contribute to technical development and improved testing processes.

Common tasks include:

• Developing and implementing test plans for complex mechanical tests.
• Coordinating and leading projects with continuous follow-ups against schedule and budget.
• Ensuring commercial and logistical aspects of testing projects.
• Collaborating closely with senior technical project managers and team leads in mechanical testing.
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Reporting project status, results, and developments to the steering group.
• Driving continuous improvements in the testing process.

The candidate we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who wants to develop in a project management role within mechanical testing and thrives in an environment where technology, quality, and collaboration are in focus. You have an engineering background and experience in project management, preferably within testing, mechanics, or R&D. To succeed in this role, you need to be structured, communicative, and have the ability to drive projects forward in a complex organization.

Additionally, we are looking for someone who:

• Has 0-5 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
• Has an engineering background or equivalent technical education.
• Communicates fluently in English; Swedish is a strong merit.
• Has experience from R&D environments (meritorious).
